I didn't watch the Emmy's last night but I was happy to hear that Ty Burrell, the guy on Modern Family, won. Over the summer he was a guest at a wedding I shot....kinda fun.

I haven't been blogging so you might be surprised to see I have two HUMONGOUS children. Oh, and I'm kinda a big too ;) Two more months!

Jane has recently mastered the fake smile. Gotta love it.

FIRE

I haven't blogged for so long I can barely remember how! :) I'm not even going to try and catch up....but hopefully I can get in the groove again soon.

A couple weeks ago I was sitting in my bedroom when I heard some loud popping sounds outside my bedroom window. I peaked outside and seriously couldn't believe what I was seeing...the neighbor's garage was completely engulfed in flames. I ran to the front door and when I opened it was almost knocked over by the intense amount of heat. I, of course, called 911...but it seemed like FOREVER before they arrived. I felt extremely helpless while I was waiting so I grabbed my camera and took a couple photos and video :) I had to do something. It was probably only about a minute and half before the crews got there but it was shocking how fast the fire grew. I thought our sweet neighbor's (Grandma Betty) home was going down too....had there been a breeze at all it would have.

The whole thing was pretty traumatic for a pregnant hormonal kind of gal like me but luckily Betty's house was miraculously unharmed, the garage was the only thing that was lost, and no one was hurt.

It was, however, very exciting for my little roommate...

Yes, my friends, me, Mary, and Suzie had an all out British wedding celebration. I didn't get the make-up memo, but none-the-less the party must go on...
