I haven't blogged for so long I can barely remember how! :) I'm not even going to try and catch up....but hopefully I can get in the groove again soon.A couple weeks ago I was sitting in my bedroom when I heard some loud popping sounds outside my bedroom window. I peaked outside and seriously couldn't believe what I was seeing...the neighbor's garage was completely engulfed in flames. I ran to the front door and when I opened it was almost knocked over by the intense amount of heat. I, of course, called 911...but it seemed like FOREVER before they arrived. I felt extremely helpless while I was waiting so I grabbed my camera and took a couple photos and video :) I had to do something. It was probably only about a minute and half before the crews got there but it was shocking how fast the fire grew. I thought our sweet neighbor's (Grandma Betty) home was going down too....had there been a breeze at all it would have.

Wow-- that is so crazy! Were you the first one to see it? Do you know how it started? Wow. I'm so glad no one was hurt, and that it didn't spread further than it did-- it looks big.
That is seriously crazy! So scary for you, but if I was Betty I wouldn've been poopin ma pants!
That last shot could be in one of (those fireman calendars.)
Wow! We talked to Grandma about it that next day and she was pretty shaken up. Crazy!
Pregnant? How pregnant are you?! Congratulations! Glad to see you again, my friend.
Those are some fantastic pictures!
I wonder if my neighbors could burn down their garage so I could get some cool shots.
No video?
Great post! I'm so glad Grandma Betty is okay.
How did it start?
I think a cigarette...
