Stressed out and can't sleep
I've got a baby coming in three weeks, 8 shows to finish, my mom just went to the ER (she couldn't remember the year, day, month, who the president was, what had happened in the last six months or so, who her youngest grandchild was, or even that I was expecting a baby.....so scary!) and we still don't know what exactly went wrong, RS meetings to plan, and my baby is not letting me sleep. There, I'm done venting. I really wish time would stand still so I could finish up and figure out all the things that are stressing me out...before my baby gets here.
That was a bit dramatic....I'm doing pretty good really. I'm excited for this baby, I just need to get a substantial amount of work done in the next three weeks! I REALLY hope she doesn't come early!!!!

Maternity Shoot?

Last Monday during the snow storm we decided to go to the train station to get the kids out of the house. I took the camera with the intent of getting some six year old pictures of Lucas but before I knew it we ended up doing a full-blown maternity shoot. he he. I've never been a huge fan of maternity pictures (most I've seen make me want to hurl) so I wasn't taking the whole thing very seriously. It looks like I was way into the whole thing but it was mostly silly! Anyway, we ended up having so much fun and I'm actually really glad to have some pictures taken while I'm still pregnant with my little Jane. Only 8 more weeks!!!

Last Wedding

Last Thursday I shot my last wedding for awhile. The families I was working with were really great and laid-back so the day went really well...I was nervous my back would give out but I was okay until the very end. Friday it was a struggle to get around but the pain was pretty well gone by Saturday--Woo-Hoo!
There was a cute girl named Kimber (that was related to the bride) shooting candids while I was doing my thing. I know that some photographers really hate when people are shadowing them but I love it--and I don't mind the company. There's just so much you miss when you don't have multiple photographers--for instance; this shot shows a great perspective that I couldn't ever give a client (for obvious reasons). She sent me a link to her blog and I saved a copy for myself.
It's a much better picture of me working than the ones David usually takes (i.e. me stuffing my face with cinnamon roles).
