A few weeks ago we took a little camping trip with the Deru's over by Deseret Peak. When we were driving up I could see the rain clouds coming in and thought...they'll pass. Well, they did pass but not without getting us a bit wet. By the time we ate dinner it was only sprinkling and then, luckily, it didn't rain the rest of the night. This is one of those situations that I just love David. He rises to the occasion and makes sure that everyone is having fun despite dreary conditions. Camping trips never seem like that much work to me because David really does take care of most everything...he won't even let me touch the tent poles. He says the best thing I can do to help him is to stay out of his way. Sounds good to me!
nice...

Grandpa Joe, Miriam, and baby Anna

There were three little ladies under the age of one.
They were all so good.

David, me, Lucas, and Jane all slept on ONE air mattress. We didn't really plan it that way it just sorta happened. Honestly, there was something so fun about having my little family all so close. Jane slept all night (she's an angel) and Lucas kept me warm.

Morning nap by the camp fire

We had such a great time!!!
